Is this a good printer for printing on cardstock for my vision board?

Hello Buggie. The thickest paper the WF-2960 can print on is Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy which weighs 79 lb. For cardstock, we recommend a paper that falls between 44 lb to 79 lb. will this printer still print in black if the color cartridges are empty but left in the printer? is there an option in settings for just printing in black as i don't need color printing.

Hello imagicman. Yes, the WF-2960 can temporarily print in "black only" mode when other color cartridges are expended. You can cancel your print job and select settings to temporarily print with only black ink on plain paper or an envelope if the print stops.
