Can you still record the sound in directly? i did on my gopro3 w/ conversion wire

Yes, the new HERO does have multiple microphones on the camera. If you're asking if you can connect an external mic to the new HERO, the HERO is not compatible with the GoPro Mic Adapter, so you will not be able to connect an external mic to this model.

Can you hook up an external mic to it?

The HERO is not compatible with the GoPro Mic Adapter, so you will not be able to connect an external mic to this model.

The Super Suit is designed to work with the HERO5 Black, the HERO6 Black, and the new HERO. For the HERO3 cameras, you'll want to use the Standard Housing.

I am interested in a GoPro to take video and possibly photos of bioluminesent plankton while kayaking. I was wondering if this is capable of good quality low light photos and video as it must be really dark out to see the bioluminesent creatures? Thanks!

There are some settings you can select to maximize the HERO6 Black's performance in low light, but it does work best in brighter situations.

where can I find instructions on controlling my Go Pro Hero 6 while scuba diving with the super suit on it?? I will have it attached to short floaty stick OR a tray depending on conditions etc.

GoPro manuals are available on our site, but for this specific situation, you'll want to press the mode button on the side and the shutter button on the top at the same time. This will change the front display to the older format, which will allow you to make changes to settings using the buttons instead of the rear display.

Want to buy a GoPro for video on my motorcycle trips. Want just a good reliable camera. Which one would be my best choice? Should the wrist strap be purchased also?

It really depends on the features you're looking for. The HERO6 Black is going to give you the latest features, including great stabilization, which should help your shots on the motorcycle look even better. The new HERO is also a great option if you aren't sure you need as many of the resolution and frame rate options.

The Wrist Strap is sold separately, and it's a great mount. You might also want to take a look at the Helmet Mount.

Can the Hero HD be used with the Karma Drone (using the Hero 5 HARNESS) AND THE KARMA grip?

Does the GoPro Hero 6 record good sound quality? I've owned GoPros before and the video quality is absolutely beautiful but the sound, not so good. I do a lot of videos for my business and always making lifestyle videos. I don't want to buy a 4k camcorder
