Can you control the hero 11 with you IPHONE?
Yes, if your iPhone is running iOS 15.0 or later, you can download the GoPro Quik app and then use that app to pair your phone to the HERO11 Black. Once paired, you can select the camera's settings, start and stop recordings, take photos, and preview the shots you take all from your iPhone.

Yes, the camera will still pick up sound, but the sound will likely be muffled. The housing does come with a skeleton door that can be swapped out on the housing. The skeleton door has a large opening in it, which will provide better audio.

Will this charger charge the Blue GoPro battery?
It will also charge the HERO9, HERO10, and HERO11 batteries. These batteries have a blue cap on both the top and the bottom of the battery. There is an earlier battery for the HERO8 that has a blue cap on the charging end of the battery only, but not on the top of the battery. This charger will not charge those HERO8 batteries.

I believe the HERO11 camera can take 360 degree photos, right? That feature is the only reason I was potentially considering the GoPro Max instead, so if the HERO11 can take 360 degree photos, there doesn't seem to be a reason to consider the Max.
Since the HERO11 Black has one lens, it can not shoot 360 photos or videos. If you're interested in 360 captures, the GoPro MAX is the correct camera to consider.

Yes, you should be able to download the photos and videos to both. Photos and videos are saved in standard jpg and mp4 formats that are stored on the micro SD memory card you use in the GoPro camera. Two common ways to transfer those files to your computer is by using an SD card adapter or by connecting the camera to your computer's USB port and importing the files from the SD card. For the iPad, the easiest solution would be to install the GoPro Quik app on your iPad. Once that's done, you can pair the HERO10 Black to the iPad and sync files using the app.

Just wondering if this GoPro does the 360 video
The HERO11 Black can shoot very wide shots, but it does not shoot 360 photos or videos. For 360 shots, you will want to look at the GoPro MAX camera.

it is not clear to me how to mount camera on a sticky base or on a hand stick.
The HERO5 Black comes with an accessory called the Frame that wraps around the camera. The Frame has two mounting fingers on it that can be used to connect the camera to mounts using a thumbscrew to connect the mount to the Frame.
