I do a lot of still shots more than videos. Is this a perfect replacement for a regular digital camera?

The HERO10 Black is definitely a good option for you. If you shoot your videos in 5.3K, you can pull super crispy, detailed 19.6MP photos from your videos.

In order to head mount it, I will need to purchase an accessory kit correct?

The HERO8 Black comes with an adhesive mount that you should be able to stick on to a helmet. If you're looking for something to mount on your head, the Head Strap mount is a good mount to look at. You can buy that mount on its own, and it may be included in kits as well.

I have a Toyota Tacoma with a built in GO Pro holder , at least that’s what I was told.Will it hold this camera?

Yes, the mount that's pre-installed in some Tacomas is the standard GoPro Quick Release mount. That mount works with nearly every GoPro camera, including the HERO8 Black.

is this the product i need to attach the GoPro 8 to a ski helmet?

The Suction Cup Mount might work, but that mount is better on flat surfaces. For a ski helmet, many people prefer to use a curved adhesive mount.

What is the Max SD capacity for Gopro 8?

There are some 512GB cards that are recommended for the HERO8 Black. The GoPro website has a list of recommended cards so you can be sure to get one that's compatible with your GoPro.
