gopro max 360 says memory card capacity 256 gb Can I use a class 10 512GB /1tb card? If so, what is the longest i can continuously record ? Lastly, is there a pause function when recording or would that create a new file?

GoPro recommends cards up to 256GB max for the MAX camera. How long you can record for will depend on the settings you choose. In 360 mode, a 64GB card will record about 2 hours of video. For larger cards, just multiply that time by how much larger the card is. When recording, each time you stop recording will create a new file.

Can the recording be transferred onto a dvd? I want to use to make home videos and sports recordings of my kids. Not many options for a camera recorder.

The video files are saved as an mp4 file, which is a very standard file format. There are several options to transfer mp4 files to a DVD format.

Can you record at night in the dark?
