On its own, the HERO9 Black is waterproof down to 33 feet. If you plan to go deeper than that, there is a protective housing for the HERO9 that will protect it down to 196 feet.

This particular housing will not work with the HERO6 Black. For that model, you'll want to use a housing called the Super Suit.
