Can this camera be mounted on a long tripod to record a soccer game

If you lose the camera at the I don’t know...the Pacific Ocean, is there a warranty that can replace it?

GoPro does have a warranty for manufacturing defects, but it does not cover lost cameras unless the camera being lost was due to a manufacturing defect.

does this track you for videos? if i set up on a mount or tripod, worked in an area would it track and record my movement?

There's nothing in the GoPro camera itself that would automatically move/rotate the camera itself to follow a person around as they moved. There may be third-party tools that would allow this to be done though.

How many hours of 5k video will you be able to fit on a 128gb,256gb, 512gb micro sd card? Also do samsung micro sd cards work or is sandisk recommended?

Best Answer

When shooting in 5K and using a 128GB SD card, you should get about 4 hours and 12 minutes of recording time on that card. For the other cards, you can multiply that time based on the size of the card you're using. For the sizes you've listed, for example, you should get about 8 hours and 24 minutes on a 256GB card and 16 hours and 48 minutes on a 512GB card. Sandisk and Samsung cards are on our list of recommended cards, but there are different models within each of these brands, so you will want to check with GoPro's list of recommended cards to make sure the card you're using is recommended.

Can the go pro connect to another power pack for longer battery use?

Yes! As long as the power output is 5v 1-2A then it can power the GoPro through the USB-C cable.
