Do I need additional accessories to put this in the mount that comes in tacomas? Does anyone know?
The Tacoma uses GoPro's standard quick release mount, so you should be able to connect the HERO9 Black to that mount using the mount that is included with the camera.

The HERO7 Silver does not have a manual wind reduction feature. That feature is available on the HERO7 Black model.

How can you operate the GoPro 9 camera when it's in the U/W housing. How do you take video or still shots, when there doesn't appear to be any knobs or buttons of any kind on the housing?
There are button relays on the top and the side of the Protective Housing that will allow you to press the buttons on the GoPro. You will not be able to control the camera using the rear touch screen, but nearly all functions can be controlled using the buttons as well.

Can I plug in the cable with the protective casing with the camera. I know I could have the protective case and charge the camera at the same time.
When the GoPro is in the Protective Housing, the camera is fully enclosed. There is no way to connect a cable to the GoPro while it's in this housing.

Are you able to upload videos from the GoPro straight to Youtube?
The HERO7 Black is capable of live streaming directly to YouTube (note though that YouTube requires you to meet specific requirements in order to live stream to that site). As for uploading recorded videos, you would need to upload through either your computer or by pairing the GoPro to a smartphone and uploading through the phone.

Is a special case needed? Are there corrosion issues for being in salt water? Camera will only be used while surfing. I have issues with my Hero 7 that the battery door has major issue with corrosion due to being in salt water frequently.
No special case is needed unless you plan to take the GoPro deeper than 33 feet. If you are using the GoPro in salt water, it's always a good idea to rinse it off with fresh water after use.

It's great. The HERO7 Silver can shoot great shots in indoor, outdoor, underwater, etc.

Is this battery compatible with GoPro 360 model?
It's compatible specifically with the MAX model - which is a 360-capable camera. It will not work with other GoPro 360 cameras like the Fusion model.
