GoPro has recommended SD cards up to 512GB for use with the HERO9 Black. Please note that not all SD cards have the same performance. You will want to check the GoPro site to confirm that hte card you are planning to use is compatible with the HERO9 Black.

This is USB only, which is really inconvenient for me. How do you plug it into the wall and charge with a regular plug??? I'm only seeing the GoPro SUpercharger which is on clearance and I used to use it with my Hero 5???

You can plug the USB-C cable that powers this charger into a standard USB wall outlet (like the charging block for an iPhone) and power it that way. You'll want to use a plug that outputs to 5V 1-2A, which is a common output for most of these types of plugs.

Even though this camera is supposedly waterproof without a housing case. Does it have the option to use a waterproof case just in case to protect it against water coming in? Im trying to buy my 1st hero and want to be sure before submerging it to water.

Yes, there is a separate protective housing for the HERO7 Black. It's called the Super Suit Dive Housing, and you should be able to find it here on the Best Buy site.

can i use it in the car like a dashcam?

You can definitely use the HERO9 Black to record as you drive. The recording time would be limited to the battery (though you could provide external power) and the size of your memory card.

Yes, it can. You could use a 90-degree adapter to rotate the GoPro.

The batteries for the HERO9 Black are a new size and shape, so they will not work with the HERO6 or with the Dual Battery Charger for that model. Likewise, the HERO6 batteries won't work with the HERO9 or the Dual Battery Charger for the HERO9. The USB-C charging cable that you have for your HERO6 will still work with the HERO9 though, so you can use that same cable to charge the batteries in the camera and to power the Dual Battery Chargers.

Does this hero 9 case fit with the hero 8? Are they the same size?

The HERO9 Black and the HERO8 Black are different shapes and sizes. The Media Mods for each model will only work with that model.
