The AU8000 TV Series does not have PIP (or split-screen). Split-screen capability to view two different content side-by-side is available starting from our QLED Q60 Series and up using our Multi View feature. For example, you can view media from different sources, such as an app, Blu-ray player, or game console, on the main left screen while also mirroring your phone to the smaller screen. Multi-View provides you with endless possibilities for splitting screens and viewing several types of content at the same time.

HI, we have a cable box we rent from Xfinity-our older TVs require a cable box from Xfinity (Comcast). Does this tv have the cable box function in it so we don't need to have the cable box if we buy it?

Just got this TV today and have Geek Squad but the sound isnt as good as my 5 year old samsung and the picture seems not clear and NOT sharp ...I tried adjusting the sharpness and no change... I want to return unless you can help me?

I'm sorry that the picture and sound you are experiencing out of the box are not satisfactory. If you have not already tried these, I recommend the following adjustments:

Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the image settings to your taste with additional functions.

Additionally, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal sound preferences. Change the Sound Mode by going to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.

You can also customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings
