i recently bought a Samsung 65” Class AU8000 Crystal UHD Smart TV (2021). i am thinking about buying this surround system. Does it use a HDM! plug in into the HDMI ARC port on the TV to connect the system to the TV? how about the subwoofer

Hi ScubaSteve! The HW-A470 can connect to your AU8000 Crystal UHD TV by using the included digital optical audio cable or Bluetooth wireless audio connection. HDMI ARC support begins with soundbar model HW-A550. The wireless subwoofer included with the soundbar will require a connection to a nearby outlet for power and will then wirelessly connect to the soundbar. The subwoofer does not connect to your TV.

Can this be used outdoors?

Hi requiredfield! The HW-A650 is not designed for use outdoors. Using the soundbar outside of the recommended conditions may cause damage to the unit and void the included manufacturers warranty. The HW-A650 has an Operating Temperature Range of +41°F to +95°F and Operating Humidity Range of 10 % ~ 75 %. ^Tim

Wil this soundbar integrate with a FireStick remote?

Hi Wf4440! The HW-A650 is compatible with HDMI ARC. If connected to the TV via HDMI ARC, the soundbar's volume will adjust along when controlling the TV volume. Alternatively, you can try adjusting the remote settings within the soundbar. This function can be used with IR remote controls only. Bluetooth remote controls (remote controls that require pairing) are not supported. Set the TV speaker to External Speaker to use this function. 1) Turn Off the Soundbar. 2) Push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “Samsung-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Off-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”.

Will this soundbar work with a LG 55B8PUA Oled TV. In particular I want to ensure that the Dolby Atmos will work correctly as the LG is only ARC and not eARC . I run my viewing through an Apple TV 4K . Thanks in advance

Hi! The HW-Q950A will be compatible with any TV supporting HDMI or HDMI ARC. To get the full, uncompressed Dolby Atmos experience, eARC is required; however, standard HDMI ARC will still support Dolby Atmos giving you an immersive surround sound experience.

Is there a way to enhance the bass and treble on the sound bar. Music from pandora sounds a little flat

Hi! To control the volume of the treble or bass sound from the soundbar, press the Sound Control button (looks like a gear) to select TREBLE or BASS in Sound Settings, and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

Hi Sueb! The AU8000 features 3 HDMI ports for connecting to external devices. If your devices support HDMI, you will be able to connect it to the TV. So I had asked the question of how long are the legs of a 65 inch tv? I always get the length from side to side (47.5) what I really need is the length of the feet from front to back of tv? ( so I can figure out how wide my new tv stand should be)

Hi Cappy! Apologies for the confusion. As stated in the previous answer, the depth (or length from front to back) of each leg on the 65" AU8000 is 11.1". Your furniture or TV stand will need to have a depth of over 11.1" in addition to the width of over 42.7" to accommodate the distance between each leg. I hope this helps.
