I just asked a question about how to control volume with Dish Network remote control. I found the answer. It is fixed!!

Can the volume be controlled by my Dish Network remote instead of the one that comes with this Samsung TV; also thepower button to turn on and off the tv. I am constantly having to switch remotes when I change channels or change the volume. Thanks.

Will this TV get the local free channels you get with an outside antenna on the roof? Like 3, 3.3, 5, 5.3, 5.4, 8, 10.3.......

Hi LindaLu! The AU8000 features a standard coaxial connection allowing you to connect an external antenna to the TV for live local channels. Once connected, you will need to perform a channel scan to add the available channels to your TV Guide.

Currently use Roku with Samsung tv. Am I still able to do so on AU8000? Thx.

This model does not have built in Roku; however, Samsung TVs use a Tizen operating system which has a built-in App Store allowing you to choose from and download hundreds of apps such as the Roku Channel, Discovery+, HBO Max, and many more.
