Does this tv have built on Roku?

The TU6985 does not have built in Roku; however, Samsung TVs use a Tizen operating system which has a built-in App Store allowing you to choose from and download hundreds of apps such as the Roku Channel, Discovery+, HBO Max, and many more. We are continuously adding more premium content and new services to our Smart TV platform. Should you wish to connect an external streaming device, this model supports HDMI for compatibility with a wide range of streaming solutions.

I connected a new BOSE Smart Soundbar 300 using the ARC port (Ultra high speed HDMI cable). When I skip a recorded show, the sound from the sound bar is muted for 3 seconds every time. This did not happen with my 10 year old Samsung TV. Any ideas?

Can I watch apple tv on the TU6985 4K Crystal UHD Smart Tizen TV

Hi marga! The Apple TV+ app is available on the TU6985. Additionally, this model supports 2 HDMI ports allowing you to connect external streaming devices such as an Apple TV.

Will plugging a Dolby Atmos capable Blue Ray player into one of the HDMI 2.0 ports on the tv and then running a HDMI cable from the EARC port on the tv to a EARC port on a sound bar produce true Dolby Atmos sound? Will using that regular port stop Atmos

Hi Sonny! eARC allows uncompressed Dolby Atmos signals to pass through to compatible eARC devices. If the TV is receiving a Dolby Atmos signal through either HDMI or Streaming App, the signal will pass through uncompressed to the compatible Dolby Atmos audio device.

Has anyone tried connecting audio to this tv from an old (18 years old) receiver using a composite to hdmi adapter?

Hi wiinter! Using adapters of any kind may reduce audio quality or cause delays in the audio/video signal. For the best experience with the TV we recommend using audio devices that support digital optical audio or HDMI.
