I'm thinking about buying this TV, but I wanted to know if the TV still has the problem of making sounds when it is off? Based on the reviews, owners have described the sound like a knocking, clicking, or dripping sound. Thanks in advance!

Hi MS! Samsung TVs use a combination of metal and plastic material. These materials are subject to expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. Occasional creaking, popping, or cracking may be heard. This does not happen to all customers with the AU8000, nor does it indicate a product malfunction.

Will this fit on top of a 35 inch dresser?

Hi Kim! The legs for the 50" AU8000 are spaced 30.1" apart. You should have enough room on a 35" piece of furniture to place the TV on top of.

What button(s) on this Samsung TV model remote are used to rewind and fast forward when watching movies? I know it pauses and plays. Question 2. I connected amplified ultra-thin HDTV Antenna (insignia) and used Airplay choice. Why can't I find guide?

Hi MDD! The left and right buttons on the remote will be used to fast forward and rewind content on the AU8000 when available. After connecting the antenna to the TV you must perform a channel scan to pull in the available channels and add them to the TV guide. To perform a channel scan navigate to Settings > Broadcast > Auto Program. Once the programming is complete, the channels will appear in the TV guide accessed by pressing in the channel button on the remote.

Joe - Yes, the Q70A is a Bluetooth enabled TV. You can connect external devices (such as a DVD player) to the TV via HDMI cable. ^Gina

we have a older Samsung wall mount. Will the 55" class Q70A work on the older wall mount?

New1 - The 55" Q70A TV utilizes any universal wall mount with a VESA pattern of 200mm x 200mm; if your previous wall mount supports this VESA pattern, it sure will work with this model. ^Gina
