Why is this not in the SmartThings app? Why can’t I get the speakers to connect to the soundbar

How do I take the darn battery cover off, does it need the remote to turn on. Is their a led light indicating that it on?

Hi! To remove the battery cover of the remote, simply Slide the back cover in the direction of the arrow until it is completely removed. You can then insert 2 AA batteries and slide the back cover back into position. The soundbar will feature physical buttons for Power, Source, and Volume. The HW-A430 features a display that will turn on when the soundbar is initially powered on, or after receiving a command from the remote or buttons. After a short period of time, the display will turn off to avoid any distractions when watching TV.

I bought this tv. Usually there is a screen protector film that should be removed. I can't seem to find it to peel it off. So my question is, does it have a screen protector?

Hi Jack! If there is a protective film on your screen, it will be indicated with a large blue triangle in the upper left corner. The triangle will have an illustration showing how to remove the protective film. If you do not have a blue triangle in the upper left corner, then that means there is no protective film on the screen, so please do not try to peel off anything. You will damage what is actually the screen. Can this TV run the Samsung Smartthings App.

Hi Smarty2Shoes! The SmarThings dashboard is not available on the AU8000. This feature starts with the 2021 Samsung Q60A QLED TV. The AU8000 can be connected to the Smart Things App on a mobile device for additional ways to control the TV.

does this tv come with the paramount plus app preloaded on it

Hi rlrms! Paramount+ does not come preinstalled on the AU8000 however it can quickly and easily be downloaded through the built in App Store.

I have an older DVD VHS tape player that connect by the old three cable plug ins, red, yellow and white. Is there a way to convert to one of the inputs on this TV?

Does this TV have the YouTubeTV app pre installed? This is different than just the YouTube app. Also can you access the Peloton app from the App Store?

Hi! The YouTube TV app does not come pre-installed on the AU8000; however, it can quickly and easily be searched for and downloaded through the AU8000's built in App Store. The Peloton app is not available for download at this time.
