Does this HW-A650 sound bar have the CENTER SPEAKER/DIALOGUE dedicated feature? I was told that it DID but do not see listed under specifications??

How many speakers are there?

Hi Bouncy! The HW-A550 is a 2.1ch, 410W soundbar system including a soundbar and wireless subwoofer. The soundbars rated power output is 160W (40w x 4) with a 250W wireless subwoofer.

I’m trying to pair soundbar with Dish Hopper remote. No success with Dish’s automatic pairing steps. Anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how did you solve it?

Hi MPMH! You can adjust the HW-A550 Soundbar volume using a wide range of TV’s remote controls or universal remote solutions. This function can be used with IR remote controls only. Bluetooth remote controls (remote controls that require pairing) are not supported. Set the TV speaker to External Speaker to use this function. 1) Turn Off the Soundbar. 2) Push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “Samsung-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Off-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”. For the most support, you will want to select the All-TV Remote option. Should you need further assistance, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG. ^Tim

I have an older system with multiple components, each of which has an HDMI cable output. My current soundbar floor unit has multiple HDMI inputs. Would I need a separate piece of technology with multiple HDMI inputs to fit this soundbar system?

Hi mjw36! The HW-A550 is designed to connect direct to the TV via HDMI, digital optical audio, or Bluetooth wireless audio. Once connected, all sound from the TV will pass through to the soundbar. The HW-A550 features an additional HDMI input allowing you to connect an external device direct to the soundbar should you need an additional port on the TV.

Hi! The HW-A40R is not brand specific and is compatible with digital optical or Bluetooth wireless audio connections. Check the back of your TV, or consult the user manual if needed, to determine if your TV supports one of these two audio connections for compatibility with the HW-A450 Samsung Soundbar.

Can I install Samsung HW- Q950A soundbar on Wall mount TV bracket made by MantelMount Company ? Do I need any extra hardware. Extra 2" space requirement between TV and Soundbar is big negative. Are there any alternatives?
