I bought this TV today and I can’t figure out whether or not there is a protective film over the screen that needs to be pulled off first. Anyone know?

Hi Candy, if there is a protective film on your screen, it will be indicated with a large blue triangle in the upper left corner. The triangle will have an illustration showing how to remove the protective film.If you do not have a blue triangle in the upper left corner, then that means there is no protective film on the screen, so please do not try to peel off anything. You will damage what is actually the screen. If you need further help, please contact Samsung TV Support at: 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

Hi, which fixed TV wall mount is compatible with the 70” Samsung TU6985? I bought the “Best Buy essentials fixed TV wall mount for most 36” - 90” TV’s” but none of the seven (7) different screws fit in the back of the TV, so I can’t attach the brackets.

Hi Mfalls! The 70" TU6985 features a VESA mounting pattern of 400 x 300 for compatibility with a wide range of universal mounting solutions. To mount the TV, you will need 4 M8 screws, 20-22 mm length, 1.25mm pitch.

What are the dimensions of the feet on this stand? Placing a TV on the mantle but it’s only 11.5” deep.

How responsive is the app menu for switching between streaming services? I currently have issues with laggy response time with my Samsung 65” 4K UHD between the remote and TV. Has this been an issue on this model?

If you are experiening slow response to the remote, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu to optimize the TV's performance. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.
