Is this completely wireless? Or is there still a power chord? It’s paired with a 2.1 channel so it’s not actually surround sound it’s just the same as the front speakers correct?

Hi Hewpmedecide, the rears do need to be plugged in. When you connect your rears to the sound bar your system becomes a 4.1 system and you will get true, or simulated, surround sound depending on how the audio was encoded. Thanks, ^Scott

I have the q60t soundbar and the 8500s. Does this makes it a 7.1 system even though it doesn't support Dolby Digital Plus? Some blu-rays have a 7.1 audio option so does my current setup know that i have a 7.1 system or will it only output to 5.1?

Hi Bondman93, with this setup you hear a 5.1 channel mix of the soundtrack rather than a 7.1 channel mix. The surround back left and right channels are folded into the left and right surround channels. If you would like a sound bar compatible with Dolby Digital Plus check this out: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-hw-q70t-3-1-2ch-soundbar-with-dolby-atmos-dtsx-2020-black/6400660.p?skuId=6400660 Thanks, ^Scott

My desktop computer has an HDMI OUT PORTAL, head phone jack & USB ports. Can I use 3.5mm audio cable to headphone portal or am I just better off with bluetooth? If using bluetooth will I sacrifice quality sound & functionality? Can I add rear speakers?

Hi Mark, you are best off using HDMI as it will give you the best sound quality with advanced formats. You can attach a SWA-8500 rear speaker kit to the soundbar. Thanks, ^Scott

We have a 55" Samsung Q60R tv purchased in 2020. Will the HW-T60M soundbar attach directly to the bottom of the TV? Is hardware for that included? Also, can you play a Bluetooth capable Ipod through this system?

Hi Conan, the T60M has a wall mount kit included in the box, though it will not connect directly to the TV. You can play a Bluetooth capable devices through the soundbar. Thanks, ^Scott

I bought this for a Christmas present for my husband. He has an RCA tv, the tv doesn't have an optical output or input on the TV itself. We have bought 2 different types of converters and neither will work. What do I need to buy to make this work?

Hi Kali, analog to digital converters can be hit or miss. All Samsung sound bars work through Wifi, Bluetooth, optical, or HDMI. If those aren't available on your TV I would suggest consulting with a Best Buy expert on a new soundbar or Samsung TV which start at $149 right now. Thanks, ^Scott

How do I connect the HW-T450 AND SWA-8500S to my UN40N5200 smart TV? I seem to be getting very low volume out of the 8500S speakers and a low volume out of the subwoofer. thanks

Hi Mouse24, the sounds coming from the sub and rears are meant to be very subtle while adding depth to the sound bar, not overwhelming it. If you would like to increase their output the remote which came with the sound bar can increase their levels. Thanks, ^Scott
