only one option for audio output, (optical digital). My receiver only uses RCA inputs there is no HDMI. Can't find a Y type adapter with a single male optical digital to two male RCA. Converters need an outlet that I don't want. Suggestions?

Would this sound bar be compatible with a samsung TV's ability to even out sound levels? So that extremely loud parts are the same volume as quiet parts?

Hi Bigolfishy! The soundbar does not feature the ability to level out the volume between programs. When connected to a Samsung TV with this feature enabled, the leveled volume would be playing through the soundbar avoiding volume fluctuations. ^Tim

Looking at the Samsung - 3.1-Channel 340W Soundbar with 6.5" Wireless Subwoofer all the positive reviews seem to be the Samsung to Samsung TV. I have a Sony TV, will I have all the functions with the soundbar that the Samsung people have with theirs?

Make sure the TV you are connecting to supports one of these three audio connections before purchasing. Can i use this soundbar to connect to a mixer for karaoke purpose? If so, what should i need to purchase?
