Can I use this on any HDTv? I just bought a 50" TCL flat screen. Are the two compatible or would it have to be a Samsung tv to be compatible?

Hi Kelly, you can connect the HW-T450 Soundbar to any TV with an Optical input. If your TV is Bluetooth enabled, you can connect via Bluetooth as well. ^Gina

Does the remote for 65” smart Samsung control the sound bar without included remote?

I need a soundbar with Sound settings. Meaning, I need to be able to select a mode that puts an emphasis on dialogue.

Spence, we do recommend utilizing a soundbar with at least 3 channels. Having a third channel will provide you with clearer, more emphasized dialogue. You can choose from sound modes such as Standard, Surround Sound, Game Mode, or Adaptive Sound. Geno, the SWA-8500S Rear Speaker Kit is not compatible with the HT-D6500W Blu-ray Home Theater; is only compatible with select Samsung Soundbars. ^Gina
