I currently connect my TV to my surround sound receiver with Composite connections. The HK receiver does have a Optical Digital input connection. Can I use the TV Optical Digital output to this input for control/use of the receiver surround sound feature.

Is the remote Bluetooth or IR only?

Gailana, the remote on the TU7000 is IR only; however, when stepping up to the TU8000 model and above, the remotes are both Bluetooth and IR. ^Gina

Is this tv compatible with Bose micro blue tooth speakers? If not what Bluetooth speakers are they compatible with or do I need to get Wi-Fi speakers?

Hi there! You can connect your Bose speakers as long as they are Bluetooth enabled. Refer to your speaker's user manual for how to pair. Once paired to the TV, press HOME on the TU7000 remote. What is the difference between SWA-8500S and SWA-9000S? Asking in reference to better compatibility and performance with HW-Q80R soundbar. Thank you!
