Spacing between legs is 38.8 inches.. but they appear to be angled..so I need to know the longest measurement between the legs, measured where they meet the shelf they will set upon. I only have 40 inches of flat space available.

WE have been given a year's subscription to BroadwayHD but we cannot get it on our old Samsung (2007). Will we be able to get it on this new Samsung? I
