I purchased this 12/17 and have had issues with the ice maker not functioning. Ice does not disperse correctly, gets stuck/frozen over and stops producing. I've had it repaired once and replaced once. At what point is this considered a design defect?

Hey theo . The 55TU8000 does come with feet that are 40.6" wide . Most universal pedestal stands do utilize the wall mounting holes on the back of the television. ^Jason

How is the brightness on this model? I didn't like the lower end lg cause it was dark. Reviews stated the contrast was low.
