How to convert ink to text using Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus and MS Word ( office 365)?

Hello there. Thank you for asking. Bamboo Ink is an input device and such feature will live inside of the application in use. In other words, that is a question for the manufacturer of Office 365, Microsoft.

Would this stylus work in any android devices (mobile or tab)?

Hello, thanks for asking. Bamboo Ink works for Windows based tablets and it is optimized for Windows Ink. In order to use this pen your device must have built-in either MPP (Microsoft Pen Protocol) or AES Active Stylus technology, this is something the manufacturer of your device should be able to answer.

Thank you for asking. This could be achieved although it is not the intended use, some users are successful at this. By adding a layer between the surface and the Stylus you can decrease accuracy and hence the best case scenario would be with a very slim single sheet of paper likely. But you can give it a try and see if it fits your needs per satisfaction return. Another detail you will need to have in mind is that once you align the paper to the surface you should secure the paper and not move it until you are done with your task at hand. Hope that helps. Hi there. Bamboo Tip is a Capacitive powered stylus made for Android and iOS devices. This stylus works in essence just like your finger but in the form of a pen with a thin nib (it does not have any special features due to this), this is not intended for laptop use.

Now, if for Bamboo Ink you are saying that it does not work based from the compatibility page, know that the list is based of Tested devices and hence there are more devices out there that could be compatible. That said, the model you have is listed by the manufacturer as a 2-in-1 device, so if you check with the manufacturer of your laptop to confirm that your model has built in pen technology of either MPP (Microsoft Pen Protocol) or Active Styles AES (Wacom based). Then Bamboo Ink could work and if so you can give it a try.

If an app isn't listed as "compatible" on the Wacom website, will the pressure sensitivity not work? I'm curious if the pressure sensitivity will work in the Procreate app on iPad Air in particular.

The Bamboo Fineline works only for iOS devices, what you are looking for would be the Bamboo Ink, this model works with an number of different 2-in-1 devices (you can see the compatibility chart at wacom.com/comp ). That said, the model Yoga 910 is not listed inside the tested fro Bamboo Ink but the model 920 is, if your model is from the same family, you may confirm with Lenovo that your model 910 uses either Active Stylus technology (AES) or Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP), and if so, then Bamboo Ink is the one you will want to try out. Does this stylus work well with the iPad 9.7 (2017) model?

Hello Yen. Unfortunately this model uses a different type of frequency than the rest and this model will not perform well. The iPad 9.7 falls outside the compatibility list for this model of pen. You can try with the Bamboo Tip model. Hope that helps. Regards
