If the Samsung TV is connected via the ARC HDMI channel, will the Samsung remote be able to control the volume of the Sonos system or will I still have to use the Sonos app to control volume? This is my big Sonos complaint.

Hi, and thank you for your question! You can use the remote your TV comes with via ARC. Our products work with any IR remote. So, you can use the tv remote your tv comes. If you have a tv that doesn't have ARC, our products learn your IR remote with a simple set up that takes less than a minute. All you have to do is press volume + and - 3x's and mute 3x's. That's it.
So:
Tv has ARC = Automatically will work with your IR remote
No ARC = Simple three button set up.

I have recently purchased the arc and sub, I was using 2 Apple Homepods. Can I use them to replace the Sonos One’s for the rear?

Hi, and thanks for reaching out. It depends on what you mean by "completely"? More than likely your tv does not pass Dolby Atmos. Which means you'll not get a full Atmos signal your Arc. However, Arc will still pass a dolby digital 5.1 signal which your tv more than likely does support. So you'd still get an incredible surround sound experience.

I want to minimize wires but dont want to lose all speaker capability if cable goes down (I have a DVD library). I am assuming loss of internet would prevent wireless speaker operation? Is this correct?

Loss of access to anything that requires internet access would occur. So if you're streaming music from a streaming service, or via your network. Beam would play your tv audio as it's not coming from an internet source.

Can the bean and the arc connect to two tvs at the same time? I'd like to be able to switch between the sound from one tv to the other, and/or, if possible have sound from both at the same time and adjust the volume for each.

Hi, and thank you for your question. It technically could be plugged into two tv's with an HDM switcher however we don't recommend that as it can cause a very inconsistent and sub-par experience. Also, Beam cannot play music from two sources at the same time.
