Hi, and thank you for asking this question. We actually do still support the Play:1 and Sonos One as both are compatible with our S2 platform. Bridge is not necassary for our system. You can run all of your products off of your home's wifi. We do have the Sonos Boost which is designed to plug into your router and create a dedicated Sonos mesh network that all Sonos speakers receive and repeat to help with sub par wifi environments. Keep in mind that you can always reach out to us at sonos.com/support and contact us whichever way is best for you. We're happy to help get your system running smoothly!
Play:1/Sonos One are not weather resistant, so it's a good idea to purchase Amp, outdoor speakers, and wiring that you would need.
