Can you use a wireless network adapter card for wifi or does it need to be usb

You can use a PCI-Express x1 wireless adapter internally or use a USB wireless adapter. There is a switch located at the back of the tower. Do I have to turn it off every time I turn the pc off?

Most computer power supplies will have a switch on the back to cut all the power to the PC (works like disconnecting the power cord). In general you do not have to switch to power on and off the PC.
