Can you tune down the refresh rate of the monitor from 240hz to 144hz?
Try adjusting the refresh rate within the NVIDIA control panel. Go to display -> change resolution on the list on the left. Afterwards, you can select different resolutions, but they are all stuck at 120Hz (or 144Hz on the other panel I guess). BUT, if you press customize, you can create 1080p res with 60Hz refresh rate. To use this AC adapter/charger out side the USA, you will need to add a compatible wall side plug adapter, compatible with the Country where the computer will be used. This wall side adapter is sold separately.
