Will the chromebook continue to function after the Auto updates stop?

Yes. You will just not receive Operating System and security updates any longer. But there could be a time when such updates will be required for the Chromebook to continue functioning.

Can you use Excel on this laptop?

This Lenovo Chromebook 3 14 uses Google Docs for office type programs. Google Docs is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. If you must have the actual Microsoft Office Programs, you can purchase Microsoft Office 365 for this Chromebook at the Google Play Store.

I purchased this yesterday based on the reccomendation of the sales clerk. Its fine so far but the charging tray DOES NOT WORK. I have the Samsung S21+ and with or without the case, it does not work. Help, its the feature that I liked the most!

The Lenovo IdeaCentre 3i 24 All-In-One system, model number F0G000FWUS, does not have a wireless charger within the base of this model.
