Am I able to turn off S mode and use Windows 10 Pro? Is there a fee to do so?

You can switch out of Windows 10 S-Mode to Windows 10 Home operating system for free. To switch to Windows 10 Pro, you will need to purchase the Windows 10 Pro upgrade.

is the RAM soldered onto the MB or is it a memory stick?

The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 81WE011UUS, has both. There is 4GB RAM soldered to the motherboard and there is a 4GB RAM stick within the one RAM memory slot within this configuration. This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. Your certified technician can replace the 4GB RAM stick with an 8GB RAM stick for s system total of 12GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM. We recommend you consult your certified technician about your upgrade options.
