Does it already have Microsoft Office, or do I have to purchase that separately

Hi there. This is a Chromebook. It uses Google Docs for office type programs. Google Docs is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. If you must have the actual Microsoft Office Programs, you can purchase Microsoft Office 365 for this Chromebook at the Google Play Store.

This machine has no cd/dvd player/recorder. Can one be installed? If not, can I use my CD/DVD units in my desktop to input to the Lenovo?

how many Hz is this model. can you increase it by using a monitor with Hz higher than the laptop.

Hi Marc. This is a Chromebook. It runs Chrome OS. To download ZOOM for Chrome you will need to download the APP from the Google Play Store. Having said that We always recommend you check the requirements and compatibility of any software you will be installing on your new computer before you invest in any computer. Be sure your new computer can support the software you will need to use by checking the minimum system requirements from the software developers website.

How can I find update bios file and driver's?

You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan” In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up.

Hello, The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17" laptop model number 81W2004AUS ships with a 1TB mechanical hard drive (HDD), and a 128GB solid state drive (SSD), bringing to total storage of the laptop to 1,128GB.

Hello Lenovo: Does this laptop have a cable to connect a 2.5 inch hard drive in the hard drive bay or is the cable not included

The cable is not included. The Lenovo IdeaPad L340-15 Gaming Laptop is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. We recommend you consult your certified technician about your upgrade options.
