If you have ether the Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny-In-One 21.5-Inch without webcam or the ThinkCentre 23.8-Inch monitor with webcam, you will first need to convert the HDMI video out port on the IdeaCentre 510A Desktop, to a DisplayPort adapter. Since there is a power difference between HDMI and DisplayPort you will need a powered adapter like this one from a Best Buy Sponsored Supplier: https://www.rjltechnologies.com/shop/product/32430858/1?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIney99IPu6gIVUdbACh20WQ6hEAYYAiABEgJMwPD_BwE. You will connect this powered adapter into the back of the IdeaCentre 510A. Connect the HDMI connection and the USB connection to the IdeaCentre 510A computer. Then connect your standard DisplayPort cable: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-6-4k-ultra-hd-displayport-cable-black/5580672.p?skuId=5580672 first, to the adapter, then to the monitor. If you have the ThinkCentre monitor without webcam, you are ready to turn on the computer and monitor. If you have the ThinkCentre 23.8-Inch Monitor with webcam, you will also need to connect a USB-A to USB cable for the webcam and microphone to work: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tripp-lite-6-usb-type-b-to-usb-type-a-cable-black/6413115.p?skuId=6413115. Connect the square end to the monitor and the standard USB end to the computer. Again, if the monitor you have does not have the webcam, you won't need the USB cable. If you have questions during setup, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support for monitors at: 866-426-0911.
