Does this laptop support google chrome

This IdeaPad meets the system requirements to run the Chrome browser; however, there is one obstacle that will prevent the browser software from installing. This is due to the system's operating system featuring Windows 11 Home in S mode.
To expand on the latter point, S mode is a more secure, lighter version of the Windows 11 Operating System that only allows the downloading of applications from the Microsoft Store. If you try to launch or install an executable or .exe file, the system prevents it.

I can be using my laptop and it switches off line saying no internet but my husband is sitting next to me using his laptop without interruption. This happens a lot. Any suggestions?
