I am planning on buying three of these. Can they be used as an intercom system when combined with Nest Hub Max?

Is there a jack in the back to plug in headphones/ earbuds? I am old school and subscribe to the KISS method. Is there a back up battery in case of a power failure? I don't want to be late for work. If no to both of these please incorporate.

Hi Jim! The Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant does not have a headphone jack or battery backup. Please note that if you set a repeating alarm your alarm information will be retained during the event of a brief power outage.

Does this show pictures from Flickr as a screen saver or background or on a photo display setting?

Hi there! Currently the Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant can only display photos from Google Photos.

I have Google home. Google duo. Added the smart display to both. When I ask "Hey Google make a video call" it tells me I need to set up in Google home. IN Google home the only option is to unlink the devise. Please help I got this to talk to family

Hi Pattie, Your Lenovo Smart Clock requires a smartphone or tablet with the google home app installed to be setup. Once your clock is setup it only needs Wi-Fi to function.

I have a Google home in the same room, will this cause a problem in the same room with another Google device?

Hello! Thanks for your question. No, this shouldn’t cause you any issues. You can fine tune your setup by adjusting the sensitivity to “Hey Google” and setting the default speaker of each device from within the Google Home App. Furthermore, you have the option to mute the microphone if both devices are responding to your voice commands at the same time.
