No. This is a Chromebook only. The 2 in 1 reference refers to the device being able to be used as either a traditional laptop or a tablet. The screen on this device has a 360-degree hinge that allows the screen to be rotated 360-degrees to use the device in tablet format.

So this model does not come with a NVMe drive, but does it have an M.2 slot to fill with an NVMe SSD?

The M.2 slot is not empty. The 16GB Intel Optane Memory occupies this slot. Please keep in mind, this model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty.

How is Optane drive connected to motherboard. that is the 1.form factor , 2. bus and 3.interface of optane drive.

The Intel Optane Memory is M.2 configuration. Please keep in mind, this model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. We recommend you contact your certified technician for more information.
