This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. This model ships with 8GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard. There is one RAM memory slot as well, that can handle up to another 8GB stick of RAM, so your certified technician can remove the 4GB RAM stick this model ships with and replace it with an 8GB stick for a system total of 16GB RAM. This model of the Yoga 730-15 ships with two standard USB ports.

Specs say total USB ports: 3 but it also says - USB 3.0 - Type A = 3 and - USB 3.1 Type C = 1 which, even with my limited mathematical skills, would be 4 USB ports. So, is it three or is it four? And where are they located? Thanks

The Lenovo Legion Y540-17 Gaming Laptop, model number 81Q4008EUS, ships with three standard USB ports and one USB-c port. There is one standard USB port on each side of the Legion Y540-17 and one standard USB port on the back. The USB-c port is located on the back.
