No, this model does not have an M.2. Please keep in mind, This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty.

There is no GPU within this configuration Graphics processing is integrated within the Intel Core I-5 processor within this model. It is the Intel HD Graphics 620 version.

Looking for a cheap laptop to update my Garmin maps and to updated my satellite phone anyone know if this will handle that task ?

Before using the laptop do i need to plug it in to charge?

There may be some charge left within the battery from the factory. You can plug the charger in ad use the device while it is plugged in and charging.

You will be able to select how the external monitor will function. Open the "display settings" in your computer and activate output to the external monitor. You can either mirror content of your computer on the external monitor or extend the display just like a dual monitor screen.
