How do I separate audio input from audio output from the combined audio port?

Combined audio port means that the 3.5mm jack on this device is both microphone as well as headphone capable. There is no separation necessary. This is a refurbished model. The specifications on the web page for the product state two standard USB 2.0 ports. This product was first available 1st. Qtr. 2014.
