This device has a Thunderbolt 3.1 port for video out. You can hook up an external monitor to this port, you would need a Thunderbolt 3.1 to DisplayPort adapter to do this.

No, this will be the only color available.

Is the performance of the graphics supposed to be extremely low grade or is there something wrong with my unit??

This configuration does not have discrete graphics. Graphics processing is integrated within the Intel Core I-5-7200U processor. The version is Intel HD Graphics 620, the latest version of integrated graphics processing.
