I'm thinking about buying this computer but: Is the RAM manually upgradeable? If not, how? If i downloaded drivers for a drawing tablet, would they work or does this model have no capability whatsoever? Is gaming decent on this laptop? Thanks!
This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. There is 4GB od RAM soldered to the motherboard and 4GB installed in the one memory slot. The maximum RAM this system can support is 12GB, so your certified technician can replace the RAM currently within the device. Whether the external writing tablet will work with this device will depend on the compatibility of the tablet. We recommend you check with the drawing tablet manufacturer's web site for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their device, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration. Concerning gaming, again, this will depend on the requirements of the specific games.
