No, the first year will be concurrent. The second year, of course, is on its own.

i have a old comp./ i use it for e-mails- search airline fares, and upgrade my garmin which i cant update any more i dont have windows 10, is there a usb port in it to run my tv and internet though the tv modum

This system does have two USB ports. It also has wireless 802.11AC WiFi capability, if you have WiFi. There is also an ethernet port to connect to your modem by wire, if necessary.

Will Norton Security run okay on this? Norton runs in background and can sometimes be a resource-hog. Just wondering if this unit can handle it and still be functional. I only use my laptop for mainly doing e-mail, storing pics & vids, and paying bills...

Is the ethernet port really 10/100 or is it a misprint. Ethernet port should be 100/1000

10/100M is the correct speed for the ethernet port on this device. The WiFi is the latest version, 802.11AC.
