Did anyone happen to buy this open box and get the exact same thing but without the fingerprint scanner? The SKUs from what I ordered to to bby.com but I dont have the scanner like it says online. Everything else is the exact same specs.

Is the RAM soldered onto the motherboard ?

No it isn't. The maximum RAM for this system is 16GB. All work on the system must be done by a certified technician so as to not void the warranty.
