Really, you need to start with the editing software you will be using and the requirements of that software. i have an ideapad yoga 11s. but it has recently started to heat up too much and its constantly freezing up on me. is the yoga 710 comparable to it or better?

The Yoga 11s should not be running hot. We recommend you stop by your local Best Buy store and have the Geek Squad evaluate your system. The Yoga 710-11 attached to your question is similar with the Yoga 11s. The Yoga 710-11 has a newer 7th Generation processor that has similar speeds to the processor in the Yoga 11s.
