I need a machine that can handle video editing and MS Office. I'm not very technical so I guess I'm looking for a machine that: 1-has a good monitor; 2-can handle the video demands and 3- also have the processing speed/power to render the video outputs

Really, you need to start with the editing software you will be using and the requirements of that software. We recommend you check with the editing software publisher's web site for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

i have an ideapad yoga 11s. but it has recently started to heat up too much and its constantly freezing up on me. is the yoga 710 comparable to it or better?
