You can make your own recovery disks, either on DVD (this system has a CD/DVD reader-writer) or USB Flash Drive. This is true for all Windows 10 systems now, they do not come with the operating system recovery disks.

Does the built in wifi connection have ac, or is it b/g/n?

The WiFi card in this system is AC compatible and backward compatible to b/g/n.
