Do the hinges get loose over time? (The hinges were loose on the display model that I checked out at my local Best Buy. Not real loose, but loose enough to notice the screen not always staying in place, after moving the screen in "laptop" mode.)
The hinges on the ThinkPad Yoga 14 have been bench tested to replicate 10 years of use without a failure. If the demonstration model at your store had loose hinges, it was defective. I can't explain how it happened but it is abnormal.

Yes, there is a universal audio input on the back of this system and you can also connect powered speakers through the front earphone jack.

PC will not stay on....
So I got this for my mom for Christmas to replace her 10 year old computer, and I cannot get it to stay on. It works for a while, then whenever it goes to 'sleep', the power button blinks repeatedly, and it won't come on. Almost like you have to unplug everything, and plug it back in? Also, resolution is no where close to fitting the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to have to return it.

For the screen resolution, go to your Control Panel, type resolution in the Control Panel search window, select screen resolution then make sure your system is set to the "recommended" screen resolution. Hope this helps!

The HDMI-In port will carry the signal at the resolution the source sends it at. If the source sends a High Definition signal the HDMI-In port will display that signal in High Definition. Depending on the capabilities of the recording software you are using, a recording of this signal may be in HD.
