This is not a multi-tasking machine. You can have two or three windows open, but beyond that and you'll start noticing the system slow down.

There should be no problems running YouTube videos on this system, as long as your internet service is fast enough to stream the videos.

There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office installed with Windows 10. To keep the software after the 30-day trial you will need to purchase a product key. You don't need to download software, just activate the software already on the device.

Lenovo Docking Station? Or Port Replicator for the Y50?

Does Lenovo have a compatible docking station? If not, can anyone recommend what would work best with the Lenovo Y50? Would prefer to just sit it down and start to work when I get home.

There is no docking station for the Y50. You can use any universal port replicator with the Y50.
