I'm buying the yoga 910 listed from Best Buy on eBay. It is the open box new other version. says it comes with 1 year warranty, where will the proof of purchase paperwork for returning the item would be since it's coming from eBay and there's no receipt.

We recommend you check with the seller about their return policy and what is left of the limited warranty. Confirm that the seller has not voided the warranty by performing any work on the device. This is a "used" item and the original seller and manufacturer are not involved with this transaction.

the ideacenter 300s-08ihh ram is expandable from 8gb to 16gb - if I install it myself will the manufacture warranty still remain in effect ? or do I need the geek squad to do the work in order not to invalidate the warranty ? thx drw

Since this is a desktop configuration, you can upgrade the RAM but if any issues develop as a result of the upgrade you perform, it will not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. If you have any doubts about you ability to perform the upgrade, let a certified technician do the work.
