A few people advised RAM can be upgraded via a single 16GB stick. One person said it MUST be DDR4 2133mhz SO-DIMM. Can anyone who has upgraded this laptop pls recommend a reliable RAM make/model and say if they've seen a significant improvement in speed.

The specified RAM profile is DDR3 for this system. There is only one slot in this system. We do not recommend using any replacement parts that do not match the profile for this product. You may void your warranty if you use parts that do not match the product profile. Also all work done on the system must be done by a certified technician or you may again void your warranty. Keep in mind this system also has a NVIDIA GeForce 940M GPU with 2GB of dedicated RAM on the GPU, for a system total of 10GB for graphics processing.

I see that there is a lifetime warranty on the Lenovo Thinkpad 14 as listed here. Is that through BestBuy, or is it manufacturer? Can you provide list of limitations please? Thanks.

This is a refurbished system from Best Buy. Best Buy is providing the warranty. Contact your local Best Buy for the particulars of the lifetime warranty for this specific system. It may be different for each system depending on the work that was done for the refurbishment.

How well will it work with Minecraft? Can I join servers without tons of lag?

This system uses the Chrome Operating System. We recommend you check with the game publisher for the compatibility of the game software with the Chrome Operating System. Also, check with the game publisher for the minimum/recommended requirements to run the game software, then compare those requirements with the configuration of this system.

If I only put Minecraft on it and don't put other stuff on it will it preform better? I am looking for a cheap gaming laptop for my small Budget

Is the screen surface glossy or matte? And why do the specifications not tell this?

Under "Performance" in the specifications tab under this product, under the Anti-Glare feature listing the response is "No". You can expect a glossy finish on this screen.

Will it work for a Yoga 900?
