Can you charge this laptop through the usb-c connection when connected to a docking station?

No. This Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15 Laptop, model number 82R4002PUS, ships with 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (support data transfer only) port and uses a dedicated, proprietary, barrel-type configuration charging port. This laptop can not be charged through its USB-c port. A 65W round tip, device side (3-pin, wall side - USA compatible) AC adapter/charger, 100-240V, 50-60Hz is included.
